Biography

With songs of personal experience, encouragement, the listener is taken on a melodic journey inspired by different genres of music that transcend all ages and cultures.

He began singing in his hometown in N.Y. at the age of 6. He realized at a young age that there was a calling on his life. At age 13 Macheeste was selected as a lead vocalist with James Cleveland workshop of America in St. Louis, Missouri. By age 14 he continued to develop his ministry as a choir director and worship leader for his church and high school gospel choir. Determined to follow the leading of the Lord, he moved to Maryland where God began to expand his ministry. His musical influences include: CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5, Brandy, Donnie Hathaway, The Clark Sisters, Whitney Houston, Chris Tomlin, J Moss, Justin Timberlake just to name a few. Of course, his main inspiration comes from God. Macheeste has ministered with various choirs and recording artists including Towson University’s gospel choir, Reformation, Von Vargas, Alton Scarborough, and Stellar award nominee Kevin LeVar and One Sound. He currently resides in Maryland, a member of Carter Memorial Church of God in Christ where he actively works as director of the Young adult music ministry.

Today, his solo musical pursuit continues with his debut album, "Redemption." His songs tell a story and are derived from his own personal experiences evoking an atmosphere of praise and heartfelt worship. Each composition is a refreshingly melodic journey inspired by different genres of music and transcends all ages and cultures.
